FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A wildfire was spotted near mile 70, northwest of Charlie Lake on Saturday.

The B.C. wildfire dashboard shows the suspected cause of fire to be a person, and the incident is currently under control.

The fire had spread approximately four hectares, and is the only active wildfire reported in the Prince George Fire Centre. There are four active wildfires each in the Kamloops and Southeast regions of the province.
