FORT ST. JOHN, B.C – Thieves have made off with most of the supply of firewood at the Charlie Lake Rotary Park, stealing from a non-profit organization.
The wood was already split and dried for the fire season and was sitting in the shed.
A post on the Rotary Club of Fort St. John Facebook page suggests it may have been done over multiple nights. The shed is visible from the highway, so the Rotary Club hopes somebody saw something.
The Rotary Park at Charlie Lake is a non-profit operation that helps support organizations around town.
Anyone who has information about the theft is asked to contact the Rotary Club of Fort St. John on Facebook, or call 250-785-1972.
