World U-17 Hockey Challenge Legacy Funds distributed to 6 local organizations
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Legacy Funds from the World U-17 Hockey Challenge were presented to 6 local organizations yesterday at a City Council meeting.
The Host Committees were made up of over 400 volunteers from Fort St. John and Dawson Creek.
Over $57,000 was distributed to 6 community organizations in Fort St. John.
- Fort St. John Minor Hockey received $13,142.75
- North Peace Eagles Female Hockey Club received $13,142.75
- FSJ Junior “B” Club received $13,142.75
- FSJ Senior Flyers Hockey Club received $13,142.75
- Kid Sport received $2,500.00
- North Peace Gymnastics Association received $2,500.00
