RCMP Grande Prairie are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a missing 27 year old male.

On September 3rd, 27-year-old Steven Moravec was reported missing by a family member.

They said Moravec was last seen in the Edmonton area on August 28th – and on August 30th, surveillance video at a Shell station in the Grande Prairie area showed Moravec fueling his car.

ShellStation fixed

Moravec is described as Caucasian, 5’11”, with brown hair, blue eyes, facial hair, and weighing 145 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hoodie and blue jeans.

It’s believed he was driving his white 2013 Subaru XV Cross Trek with Alberta license plate BJN2352, similar to this one.

Although there is nothing to lead police to believe that there is anything suspicious about Moravec’s disappearance, his family is concerned for his well being.

Anyone who knows of Moravec’s whereabouts, or has recently been in contact with him, can contact the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment at 780-830-5701 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
