Another suspected oilpatch bombing targeting a well head site owned by Calgary-based Ecana Corporation, has been reported in the South Peace.
A news release this morning from the RCMP said, a metering shed at the site near Tom’s Lake has been partially destroyed.
There have been no injuries reported and there was no gas leak, as a result of the blast.
The damaged shed was discovered yesterday by gas line workers and if confirmed, it will be the fourth deliberate blast at an Ecana site in the same general area, in less than three months.
The RCMP is expected to have more to say at a news briefing, to be held shortly at the Dawson Creek detachment.
In the meantime, the Mounties are once again seeking public information, at their dedicated tipline which is 1-866-994-7473 or online at www.dawsoncreekbombings.com.
In addition, for those who choose to remain anonymous, they’re also taking calls at the toll free crime stoppers number…1-800-222-8477.
