The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has finished a preliminary investigation of what caused the plane crash on Friday that killed two people.
Spokesman Chris Krepsky said that investigators were on site on Saturday and Sunday, and are now heading back to Edmonton to decide where to take the investigation.
“We’re done on the site, and now our investigators are now heading to the office in Edmonton, and we’ll determine what the next steps will be in the next few days,” he said.
The crash occurred on Friday afternoon around 4 PM, shortly after the plane took off near Baldonnel.
