Northern Health hosting strategic plan engagement in Fort St. John

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Northern Health is inviting residents in northern B.C. to provide their input on the development of a new strategic plan for healthcare in the region.

According to a Facebook post from Northern Health, residents are invited to join an upcoming engagement session to share their ideas, experiences, and hopes for the region’s health care future. 

“Your input will help guide a plan that reflects the needs of our patients, families and communities,” the post said.

Those who wish to attend the session can register online. Any questions regarding the community session can be directed to nhstrategicplan@northernhealth.ca

On July 6th, a session will be held at the Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa, in the Callahan Room, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

The sessions are open to everyone, according to Northern Health.

Residents are also invited to share views on northern care in a five-minute survey.

Northern Health said it will share what it heard from the survey with community members, Northern Health leadership and the Northern Health board.

“This will inform Northern Health’s strategic mission, vision, values and future directions,” said Northern Health.  

The deadline to complete the survey is July 31st at 5 p.m.
