Thieves reportedly steal cash, ATM machine at Charlie Lake golf club
The break-in allegedly happened on Saturday, March 14th at Charlie Lake’s Lake Point Golf and Country Club.

CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — Charlie Lake’s Lake Point Golf and Country Club was the victim of a break-in earlier in March.
In a statement obtained by Energeticcity.ca, the club released details of the alleged incident, in which four individuals “gained access” to the club via the deck doors adjacent to the course’s ninth hole on Saturday, March 14th
It said the individuals then proceeded to steal several items, including an ATM machine, pro shop items and cash.
The club said the situation is “understandably unsettling” for its membership and it wanted to offer the reassurance “all staff members are safe and no significant structural damage was sustained.”
General manager of Lake Point, Dave Belling, said he could not provide further details.
The Fort St. John RCMP detachment told Energeticcity.ca the matter is still under investigation.
