RCMP blocks road to help with injured deer in Charlie Lake
The Fort St. John RCMP detachment assisted with an injured deer in Charlie Lake on Wednesday, March 18th.

CHARLIE LAKE, B.C. — An injured deer was the reason behind an early morning roadblock in Charlie Lake, according to the Fort St. John RCMP.Â
Residents had taken to social media about the speculation of a roadblock on March 18th.Â
According to the detachment’s media relations officer Christiaan Dreyer, police were called to Old Hope Road in Charlie Lake at approximately 6:18 a.m. on Wednesday.

Upon arriving, officers blocked off the road and assisted B.C. Conservation Officer Service members with an injured deer, helping to move it to a safe location.
