The work site was found to lack lifelines connected to the workers’ safety equipment, leaving the workers at risk of a fall greater than 10 feet, according to WorkSafeBC.Â
WorkSafeBC alleges this is a repeated and high-risk violation.Â
When contacted by Energeticcity.ca, Raptor Mountain Roofing confirmed it had received the fine but said it is currently in the process of appealing the decision.Â
This is not the first time the company has been fined by WorkSafeBC. The company received a $2,500 fine for a similar violation on January 14th of 2025.
