More than 130 to be affected by Dawson Creek, Pouce Coupe power outages

DAWSON CREEK, B.C.— Planned power outages will affect 132 customers in Dawson Creek and the surrounding areas. 

As per BC Hydro’s outages list, outages have been planned for March 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., affecting nine customers and March 11th from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., affecting 123 customers. 

On March 10th, areas impacted are around 209 Road, Dawson Creek and Painchaud Subdivision, Pouce Coupe.

The 123 customers affected on March 11th are around 13th Street, 13a Street, 115 Avenue, 116 Avenue, 114 Avenue, 113 Avenue and 112 Avenue in Dawson Creek. 

The power outages are due to pole replacements happening on both days. 

This comes after 53 customers faced power outages in the surrounding areas of Fort St. John on March 6th, 8th and 9th.
