Buy a bowl, get unlimited soup: Soup Fest to raise money for pottery program
The fundraiser will take place on Sunday, January 25th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Pearkes Arts and Events Centre in Hudson’s Hope.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — A fundraiser bringing together soup, art and live music is set for Hudson’s Hope this weekend.
The Rustic Pantry and the Peace Valley Arts Society (PVAS) are teaming up with the District of Hudson’s Hope to host Soup Fest, a fundraising event in support of the PVAS’s pottery program.
The event will take place on Sunday, January 25th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Pearkes Arts and Events Centre, located at 10801 Dudley Drive.

According to organizers, attendees can enjoy unlimited soup, with 10 different varieties available, by purchasing a handmade pottery bowl.Â
Those who bring their own bowl can still take part for $10, with soup available while supplies last.
“This event is all about community and connection,” The Rustic Pantry said in its announcement on social media.
Soup Fest will also feature live music from local performer Moneca Hilton, along with an open mic, coffee house and jam session.Â

Organizers are encouraging musicians, poets and other performers to participate.
The Rustic Pantry cafe will also remain open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering its regular selection of drinks and food throughout the day.
In a Facebook post on January 23rd, the PVAS expressed its gratitude to the District of Hudson’s Hope, The Rustic Pantry, its pottery members and Northern Hands Pottery for sponsoring and donating bowls for the fundraiser.
