FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John and Dawson Creek provincial courts between November 17th and 21st.

Theodore James Patrick Capot-Blanc (born 1992):

Capot-Blanc was found guilty of driving while prohibited or with a suspended licence and breaching a probation order in Fort St. John on July 16th, 2024. 

For the probation order breach, Capot-Blanc was sentenced to jail time served and a victim surcharge – which goes towards helping the victims of a crime – of $100. 

For the driving offences, Capot-Blanc was given a $500 fine and told to pay a $75 victim surcharge.

Austin Riley Parsons (born 1996):

Parsons was found guilty of breaching a release order in Fort St. John on April 18th, 2024, and sentenced to jail time served. 

Archie Kris Whitford (born 1974): 

Whitford was found guilty of driving while disqualified and breaching a probation order in Fort St. John on August 20th, 2025, as well as one charge of assault for an incident in Fort St. John on May 8th, 2025. 

Whitford was sentenced to jail time served, given an 18-month probation order and banned from driving for three years. 

Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, November 17th

Terrill Adam Woodcox (born 1992): 

Woodcox was found guilty of fraud $5,000 or under in Dawson Creek on July 28th, 2024. 

Woodcox was issued a 120-day conditional sentence, which is served outside of jail under strict conditions and is sometimes called ‘house arrest.’ They must also pay $1485.87 in restitution, which requires the offender to pay the victim for financial losses the victim suffered because of the crime.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, November 18th

Brodie Austin Crooks (born 1996): 

Crooks was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention in Dawson Creek on February 3rd, 2025. 

Crooks was issued a one-year probation order and told to pay both a fine of $1,000 and a victim surcharge of $150. 

Taren Stephany Taylor Woods (born 1997): 

Woods was found guilty of breaking and entering with intent to commit an offence in Dawson Creek on June 27th, 2024 and possession of stolen property in Osoyoos on July 12th, 2024. 

The court issued Woods a one-year probation order and sentenced them to jail time served. 

Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, November 19th

Clint Brian Martyshuk (born 1970):

Martyshuk was found guilty of mischief $5,000 or under in Fort St. John on September 23rd, 2024. 

Martyshuk was issued a suspended sentence, where the accused is given conditions to follow, as well as an 18-month probation order and told to pay a victim surcharge of $100.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, November 20th

Charles David Meise (born 1963):

Meise was issued a $500 recognizance after the allegation for an incident in Dawson Creek on January 12th, 2023. If Meise fails to follow the conditions laid out by the court for 12 months, they must pay the $500.

Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, November 21st

Garrett Clark McNolty (born 1985):

McNolty was found guilty of breaching a probation order in Dawson Creek on June 18th, 2024, and was issued a 365-day conditional sentence.
