School District 60 elects board of trustees for next school year

School District 60 has announced the results of its annual election for the 2025-26 school year.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The local school district board of trustees has held its annual election to set critical roles for the new school year. 

During the November 17th regular board meeting, School District 60 held its annual election among the board of trustees for the 2025-26 school year.

The results detailed trustee Helen Gilbert maintaining her position as board chair from the 2024-25 school year.

Trustees David Scott-Moncrieff and Madeleine Lehmann will both maintain their respective roles as alternative provincial councillor and BC Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA) representative. 

Trustee Thomas Whitton, who announced he would not be seeking re-election for the 2025-26 board in July, will be replaced as the alternative BCPSEA representative by trustee Nicole Gilliss, who will also replace trustee Bill Snow as vice chair.

During the 2025-26 school year, Snow will serve as the provincial councillor.
