Power outage to affect over 1,000 customers in Fort St. John
The outage, scheduled for November 29th from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., is expected to affect 1,148 BC Hydro customers in Fort St. John.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A planned power outage is expected to affect over 1,000 BC Hydro customers in Fort St. John later this month.
According to BC Hydro, the outage, which will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 29th, is required so crews can safely replace a pole located on a corner along the distribution line.
The utility’s outage list page initially listed the date as November 28th before it was rescheduled to the following day in emails to affected customers.
Dave Mosure, BC Hydro’s northern community relations coordinator, confirmed the date change to Energeticcity.ca, noting the corrected date will be updated on the BC Hydro website.
The outage will impact about 1,148 customers in the city, including areas around 88th Street, 89th Street, 90th Street, 91st Street, 92nd Street, 93rd Street, 94th Street, 97th Street, 104th Avenue, 105th Avenue, 106th Avenue, 107th Avenue, 108th Avenue, 109th Avenue, 110th Avenue, 111th Avenue, 112th Avenue, 113th Avenue, 114th Avenue, 115th Avenue, 116th Avenue, 117th Avenue, 118th Avenue, 103A Avenue, 107A Avenue, 113A Avenue, 114A Avenue, 86A Street, 88A Street and 89A Street as well as Princess Crescent.
Affected customers will be notified by automated phone call or email ahead of the outage.
