FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Remembrance Day on November 11th marks the anniversary of the end of the First World War in 1918. 

Each year, communities all over Canada pay tribute to fallen soldiers and celebrate the service of living veterans and active service members on this day.

Fort St. John is no exception, with commemorative poppies on sale throughout the city from the beginning of November and a parade and ceremony to be held starting at 10:40 a.m. tomorrow.

Veterans and active service members can also get free transit and free haircuts to mark the day.
