Sentencing hearing set for man arrested in August

A man arrested in Fort St. John in August, Wayne Bradley Pizzey, is set to be sentenced in December 2025.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — A man arrested in Fort St. John in August is set to be sentenced near the end of the year.

Wayne Bradley Pizzey was arrested in August following a notice to the public from the local RCMP detachment a few days prior.

He was wanted on charges of failing to comply with a probation order and driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act.

According to Court Services Online (CSO), Pizzey has previously pleaded guilty to both charges. 

CSO now says Pizzey is set to appear in court for a sentencing hearing on December 8th, 2025.

Pizzey was one of several people the RCMP issued wanted notices for during the week of August 14th.

The remaining four — Tanis Patricia Lea-Wellard, Shayne Steve Karey, Shawn Alexander Wilson and Charlynn Mae Woloschuk — are still at large.
