Fort St John Today: Cheer On Your Community
In this edition, there are a lot of opportunities for you to cheer on your community. Plus, events happening May 20-26, 2025

Hi everybody,
It’s a busy week here in Fort St John with lots of opportunities to cheer on your community. We have the Peace River Zone Theatre Festival, the Simply Music Spring Recital, Taylor Speedway and Northern Lights Raceway opening for the summer, an MS Walk on Sunday, and then a big one in the Fort St John Hospital Foundation’s Bluey Day on Saturday.
Bluey Day is a long-standing tradition here in the Energetic City. Over the past few months, our neighbours have been raising money for the Foundation’s Cancer Diagnostic & Treatment Fund with the intent of shaving their heads on May 24. There is still time to donate, including towards our own Chris Walker at Moose FM. Make sure to donate if you can to any of the participants and then cheer them on this Saturday!
