Network outage impacting internet, email and call services to City of Fort St. John

The City of Fort St. John is currently experiencing an internet network outage affecting internet, email and call services

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Fort St. John’s city network is currently experiencing an internet network outage and is working to restore services. 

The city announced the outage in a Facebook post at around 9 a.m. on February 25th. 

 “This is impacting internet and server access, some phone calls, and email sending and receiving,” says the post.

According to the post, an IT team is investigating the outage and hopes to restore services soon. 

A later update says the team is continuing to restore services but still has limited in-person and telephone services.

Anyone requiring immediate assistance can call the city at 250-787-8150.
