Wildfire near Big Beaver Creek grows to 0.21 hectares

A wildfire near Big Beaver Creek has grown to 0.21 hectares overnight since identified by the BC Wildfire Service.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A wildfire near Big Beaver Creek has grown to 0.21 hectares overnight since identified by the BC Wildfire Service. 

The wildfire was first identified on July 15th as only 0.009 hectares in size, and is located around 70 kilometres north of Prophet River and 50 kilometres south of Fort Nelson.

The wildfire remains out of control and is suspected to have been caused by humans or human activity.
