Highway 97 pothole repairs rescheduled to July 9

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Scheduled road maintenance in Taylor has been rescheduled.

Originally scheduled for July 8, maintenance will start at 7 a.m. on July 9th, with an intended completion time of 12 p.m. the same day. 

The maintenance will be to a 2.2-kilometre stretch of Highway 97 through Taylor, addressing several potholes along the road.

Drive BC has posted an updated schedule for the maintenance, detailing lane closures in both directions and a detour from Highway 97 onto 100th Street.

Energeticcity.ca reached out to Dawson Road Maintenance for comment on the reason for the delay but has yet to hear back before publication time.
