The station located at 10715 116 Street will close on July 3rd and reopen on July 22nd.
The city says residents can use other sites during this time, such as the Charlie Lake Bulk Water Station located at 13074 Lakeshore Drive.
Other bulk water stations around the region include Boundary Lake, Buick, Feye Spring, Prespatou, Taylor, and Dawson Creek.
Fort St. John Council first awarded the construction contract in May to Brocor Construction Ltd. of Dawson Creek.
City staff reported to council that the lot had reached the end of its life and must be rebuilt.
