NCSG sold to Barnhart Crane, becoming its largest acquisition

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A crane and heavy haul company based in Western Canada has been purchased by Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co., a North American lifting and logistics contracting company.

NCSG operates branches across Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, including two branches in Fort St. John and Terrace.

Barnhart is based in Memphis, Tennessee. The purchase of NCSG is the company’s first international acquisition and its largest purchase to date.

NCSG employs around 400 workers who provide crane and heavy haul services to industries such as refining, upstream oil and gas, forestry, wind energy, and mining.
