DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — After over eight years of reviews by locals praising efficient and punctual staff, the sudden closure of The Source in Dawson Creek on Friday may have surprised mall Patrons.
Those walking past the shuttered business front in the Dawson Creek Mall will see a note saying the store is closed— leaving the mall with 13 stores. Other notes, such as claims that all valuables were removed from the property, were also present.

Bell and Best Buy announced a partnership at the beginning of 2024 with vague outlined plans citing 165 of 300 locations are rebranding into Best Buy Express, while the remaining 135 are closing.
“This transition will take several months, and we don’t have further details as we finalize the transition plan,” said Rachel Jaskula, manager of public affairs, in January.
A list of shuttered locations has yet to be released, but the current The Source and Bell websites have the Dawson Creek location missing from their registry, while the Fort St. John’s location is still present.
