The District of Hudson’s Hope is asking the community to conserve water due to a leak that is expected to be repaired on Thursday.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The District of Hudson’s Hope is asking the community to conserve water due to a leak that is expected to be repaired on Thursday.

According to the district, it is facing challenges meeting Hudson’s Hope’s water demands due to the leak.

The district has asked residents to minimize unnecessary usage until further notice.

“We sincerely appreciate your understanding and collaboration as we work diligently to resolve this situation promptly,” the district wrote on its website.

The district also shared water conservation tips, including taking shorter showers and only using washing machines and dishwashers when they’re full.

The district also suggested not running water to prevent freezing because temperatures have risen.
