Community members interested in volunteering at this year’s Crystal Cup can head to Mighty Peace Brewing Co. on January 21st at 6 p.m. for more information and to sign up.

According to Crystal Cup founder and event coordinator Neil Evans, planning for this year’s Crystal Cup is going slowly but smoothly so far.

“Of course, we always want to do something bigger and better. I think we’re going to see quite a few teams this year,” said Evans.

“We’re really trying to get the word out regionally and then even further and hopefully have a lot of outside teams join the crew. We’re hoping to max out all areas. And, of course, the kids’ event — we always want to make sure that is a blast for everyone involved.”

Spanning across ten rinks on Charlie Lake, the event takes place from February 23rd to 25th.

More information can be found on the event’s website and Facebook page.
