Man wanted for robbery released on bail
Tanner Alan Murray was released on a $10,000 “promise to pay” bail after being arrested for robbery and uttering threats in Dawson Creek last week.

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Tanner Alan Murray was released on a $10,000 “promise to pay” bail after being arrested for robbery and uttering threats in Dawson Creek last week.
Murray attended court virtually on January 5th, 2024, and according to Dawson Creek Provincial and Supreme Court, he may be ordered to pay the $10,000 if he doesn’t follow his release conditions.
His conditions include curfews, people he can’t contact, no drugs or alcohol, and no possession of weapons.

Officers identified Murray on a separate call at the Travelodge in Dawson Creek on January 2nd, 2024, after being wanted since December 2023.
He has been charged with robbery, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and flight from police.
Murray will appear in court again on February 9th, 2024, to consult counsel.
