Kelly Miller resigns from Hudson’s Hope Council

The District of Hudson’s Hope announced the resignation of councillor Kelly Miller on Thursday, effective immediately.

HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The District of Hudson’s Hope announced the resignation of councillor Kelly Miller on Thursday, effective immediately. 

Hudson’s Hope Mayor Travous Quibell says the district has already initiated its process to fill the vacant position. 

“A by-election is expected to be scheduled for early 2024,” said Quibell.

“In the interim, the remaining members provide the required quorum to continue to conduct council business as necessary.”

Quibell was elected mayor in a district by-election held in July after Dave Heiberg resigned in May.
