The report also stated the man was half naked and possibly under the influence of an intoxicating substance while in a vehicle.
The vehicle the man was in fit the description of a stolen vehicle the Dawson Creek RCMP had attempted to stop, which resulted in a Dawson Creek RCMP vehicle being rammed.
Officers and police dogs were tracking the man in the area, and Clark said people were asked to go back inside their trailers or vehicles to make tracking easier.
A man was arrested and released on an undertaking to return to court if charges are approved while police continue investigating.
