$1.2 million Kids Arena Fieldhouse upgrades complete

The Kids Arena Fieldhouse upgrades are complete, keeping within the $1.2 million budget.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Kids Arena Fieldhouse upgrades are complete, keeping within the $1.2 million budget, according to the City of Fort St. John.

Upgrades began in the summer of 2022 and included updated doors, windows, lighting and bathrooms.

The fieldhouse also now has a double-door entrance vestibule with a covered canopy.

Crews renovated the bathrooms, including accessible washrooms on both floors and an accessible lift to the second floor.

The second floor now has two meeting rooms, and the concession area also received a renovation.

The project was funded by the Peace River Agreement.
