Police search for more answers in Taylor death earlier this month
The Fort St. John RCMP is looking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between a male and female, or anyone who saw a white Dodge duelly pick-up, near the Taylor Community Centre or Cherry Avenue during the evening of September 6th.
Specifically, police are looking to talk to anyone that was ATVing in this area – it is believed that some people were using all-terrain vehicles in the area that night.
Around 11:40 pm that night, Kirk Morin was found deceased near Cherry Avenue.
Lisa Miel was later arrested when found in his truck, and charged with second-degree murder.
RCMP believes that Morin and Miel had interaction in the parking lot behind the Taylor Community Centre between 7 and 11 pm on that evening.
Miel made her first court appearance yesterday through videoconference from Prince George. Her case was adjourned until October 13th so she could find a counsel and legal assistance.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with more information to contact them at 250-787-8100.
