Looney Tunes Night Club closes doors
FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Local night club Looney Tunes shut it doors at the end of last month, with the owner announcing intentions to do so on the company’s social media.
Donica Budnick-Canova dispelled rumours about why it was closing, and confirmed the news on her Facebook page.
“We did announce last night at the club that unless we fall short of a miracle Looney Toons will be closing it’s doors at the end of the month,” Budnick-Canova wrote in the post from March 20.

She continued to thank customers for the last 27 years the club has been open, and cited economic conditions for its closure.
“The choice really lays in the hands of FSJ at this point, you either come out and support the club or come and say good bye,” she added.
According to a subsequent post of March 31, the bar closed its doors for good at the end of last month.
Budnick-Canova could not be reached for an additional comment.
