TERRACE, B.C. – After winning their first Coy Cup last year the Fort St. John Flyers have added another. In one of their best 60 minute efforts year the Flyers stifled a high scoring Terrace offence to defeat the River Kings 3-2.

After a scoreless first period the Flyers scored first early in the second as a point shot was tipped in front of the River Kings goalie. Terrace tied the contest shortly after but were not able to hang on to the momentum. Fort St. John went back out in front a few minutes later, and held a 2-1 lead after 40 minutes.

The Flyers got the always important insurance marker early in the third to go up two. Terrace made things close down the stretch as they closed to within one with 1:20 left, and despite applying big pressure the rest of the way could not tie the game.
