UPDATE: Chetwynd woman found safe, unharmed

UPDATE: Chetwynd RCMP have confirmed that Kirsten Palipane has been found, she is safe and well. Officers thank media and public for their help in locating her.

CHETWYND, B.C. — A Chetwynd resident has been reported missing, and RCMP are now asking for the public’s assistance in finding her.

53-year-old Kirsten Palipane was seen overnight at her home in the Wildmare subdivision.

Police believe she left her residence on foot sometime between midnight and 5:00 a.m. this morning. Her family is very concerned for her health and well-being.

Palipane is described as a Caucasian woman, about 5’4″, and weighing 111 lbs. She has short grey hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing overalls.
