Fort St. John RCMP investigates various thefts in same night

The Fort St. John RCMP detachment is looking for more information about two thefts that occurred during the same night in November.

A 21′ Valco jetboat and a Karavan Boat Trailer with the BC Marker ‘WAE35E,’ were stolen overnight between 9 PM and 8 AM of November 21st and 22nd, while parked near the intersection of 92A st. and Alaska Road North.

In Wonowon, thieves stole a Caterpillar D9 Dozer from Hall North Construction the same night.

Police say it was driven across the highway and in behind the Wonowon Horse Club, causing damage to fences and agricultural land.

The dozer itself had $40,000 worth of damages to it when was abandoned in a lagoon behind the Wonowon Esso.

No suspects or witnesses are known at this time, and the Fort St. John RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in providing any information related to the whereabouts of the stolen and damaged property.
