This weekend, the North Peace Community Choir will be hosting a final set of shows to raise funds towards their upcoming performance at Carnegie Hall at the end of the month.

This set of performances will be excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, the same piece the Choir is performing in New York.

They have reached about 75% of their goal, and need about $50,000 to help with the costs of flying and accommodating choir members.

The Choir is performing at the Hall on November 29th. They are one of two Canadian choirs chosen to perform for the event.

Tickets are $25 for adults, and $15 for students and seniors for the shows. Both shows start at 7:30 PM, on November 13th and 14th, at the North Peace Cultural Centre.

You can buy tickets at the NPCC box office or online.
