Grande Prairie convenience store faces third robbery in under two months
Grande Prairie RCMP are searching for a male suspect an armed robbery at the Avondale Convenience Store.
On Tuesday, just before 2 PM, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at Avondale Convenience Store.
A man entered the store and walked behind the cashier desk and demanded money, wielding a knife.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money, then left the store.
RCMP describe the suspect as a Caucasian man, in about his mid-twenties to early-thirties in age. He was wearing a grey hoodie, dark vest, sunglasses, blue jeans, and blue gloves.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
This follows two previous robberies at the same convenience store, one on October 12th, and one on September 26th.
RCMP has not confirmed if these robberies are related.
