Peace Liard Regional Arts Council searching for an Alaska Highway Celebrations theme song
The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council has enlisted musician Roy Forbes and writer Caroline Woodward with the duty of finding the best new theme song for the 2017 Alaska Highway Celebrations.
The songwriter whose constructed the chosen song will receive a $1,000 prize.
This contest is one of several initiatives being carried out by the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council, in support of the Alaska Highway anniversary milestone celebrations taking place in 2017.
In addition to a song being selected by Forbes and Woodward, one will also be selected for a People’s Choice award.
The deadline for submissions is November 30th of this year.
