According to Tiffany Butt, from Community Bridge, there are thousands of foster families across B.C. and this month celebrates them for looking after kids that need fostering.

Along with recognizing current foster parents and families, Butt says this is also the time for British Columbians to become aware and informed about becoming a foster parent as there is always a need to be filled.

“There is always a need for foster parents. Even just the fact that the people who do it now, sometimes need a break, and it helps to have extra people. Across B.C., we’ve got thousands of kids that are in need of nurturing, safe homes to live in. That need never really goes away.”
