Vehicle hits moose near Chetwynd
The Chetwynd RCMP are asking people to watch for wildlife after a recent collision with a moose.
On Monday, police and ambulance services responded to an accident around 4:40 p.m. on Highway 97 and Cairn Creek Road where a vehicle hit a moose trying to cross the road.
The two occupants of the vehicle were treated for minor head injuries and were taken to hospital.
They were later released.

BC Wildfire Service has reported a wildfire between Chetwynd and Dawson Creek off Highway 97 which is currently “out of control.”
