Northern Rockies Regional Municipality business improvement program open until July 31

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality business improvement will be open to eligible businesses until July 31.

FORT NELSON, B.C. — Eligible businesses in the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality will have until the end of July to take advantage of funding for exterior upgrades.

According to a Facebook post from the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality, the 2026 Business Facade Improvement Program is still open for businesses that wish to participate. 

“Eligible businesses can receive up to 50 per cent funding, max $5,000 for exterior upgrades,” the post said.

The upgrades include facade and store improvements, signage and awnings, exterior lighting and accessibility improvements. 

The program also includes decorative details, windows, patios, entrance, doorways and siding. 

Funding is limited and awarded to businesses on a first-come, first served bases.

Projects must begin before July 31.
