FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Below are the latest sentences handed down from the Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Fort Nelson provincial courts between June 22nd and June 26th.
Fort St. John Provincial Court sentencing, June 22nd
Robert Denver Chatten (born 1978)
For an incident in Doig on November 22th, 2025, Chatten was ordered to enter into a 12-month, $500 peace bond.
Joshua Darren Morgan (born 2000)
Morgan was ordered to enter into a peace bond related to potential harm to an intimate partner or child on February 14th, 2024, in Fort St. John.
Morgan was issued a $250 recognizance for a period of 12 months following the allegation. If Morgan fails to comply with the court’s conditions, they must pay $250.

Wellard was found guilty of disobeying a court order on May 2nd, 2025, in Fort St. John.
They were handed a conditional discharge, which means the record won’t show a conviction if Wellard meets the conditions set by the judge, and a one-year probation order.
Charlynn Mae Woloschuk (born 1988)
Woloschuk was found guilty of breaching a release order and theft worth $5,000 or under on January 2nd, 2026, and November 10th, 2024, in Fort St. John.
They were sentenced to time served, which means the time Woloschuk served in jail awaiting sentencing was counted towards his sentence.
On another file number, Woloschuk was found guilty of breaching a release order on July 18th, 2025, in Charlie Lake.
They were sentenced to time served.

Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, June 23rd
Tre Nicholas Blane Tsakoza (born 1994)
Tsakoza was found guilty of breaching an undertaking on February 21st, 2025, in Fort Nelson.
They were fined $100 and must pay a $30 victim surcharge, which helps crime victims.
Dawson Creek Provincial Court sentencing, June 24th
Tadan Leet (born 1993)
Leet was ordered to enter into a peace bond related to potential harm to an intimate partner or child on May 5th, 2026, in Dawson Creek.
Leet was issued a recognizance of zero dollars after the allegation for a period of 12 months, with conditions to follow.
Fort Nelson Provincial Court sentencing, June 24th
Kurtus Ryan Matthew Dennis (born 1995)
Dennis was ordered to enter into a peace bond related to potential injury or damage to property on February 23rd, 2025, in Fort Nelson.
Dennis was issued a $500 recognizance for 12 months following the allegation. If Dennis fails to comply with the court’s conditions, they must pay $500.
Darla Danielle Mary Sassie (born 1996)
Sassie was found guilty of assault causing bodily harm on March 8th, 2025, in Fort Nelson.
They were handed a conditional sentence, which is a sentence to be served outside of jail under strict conditions, sometimes called “house arrest,” for six months and a secondary DNA order was made.
Sassie was ordered to report for sample collection and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.
On another file number, Sassie was found guilty of assault on July 27th, 2025, in Fort Nelson.
Sassie was given a suspended sentence with 18 months of probation. They were also handed an 18-month probation order and must pay a $100 victim surcharge.
