Métis Family Jamboree returns with dates at the Lido Theatre
The move to the Lido Theatre is the third-such move in as many years for the third annual Métis Family Jamboree

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The sound of Métis-inspired music will fill the air at Fort St. John’s Lido Theatre next month, in what is fast becoming a summer tradition.
The third annual Métis Family Jamboree will take over the venue on Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th.
The new venue is the third different one in as many years, following successful events at both the Charlie Lake Community Hall and the Fort St. John Seniors’ Hall.
According to a Facebook post, the Family Jamboree promises live bands, craft vendors, food on Friday evening and Saturday, and daily draws and door prizes.
Hosted by the Peace Region Métis Community Association, in coordination with the BC Métis Federation, a full list of bands is expected to be released soon.
Entry to the event is by donation only. The action starts on Friday, June 19th, at the Lido Theatre at 10156 100th Avenue in Fort St. John.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19th and 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20th. Energeticcity.ca has reached out to organizers for further comment.
