Peace River North MLA, B.C. Conservative leadership candidate host virtual town hall

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Jordan Kealy, MLA for Peace River North and Conservative Party of British Columbia leadership candidate Kerry-Lynne Findlay will be hosting a virtual town hall on May 19th.

According to a May 18th Facebook post from Kealy, the virtual town hall will begin at 7:30 p.m. 

Residents who join the town hall will have an opportunity to hear about community issues and share concerns, while receiving answers to questions about British Columbia’s future.

Findlay is among five candidates for leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, including Iain Black, Caroline Elliot, Yuri Fulmer and Peter Milobar.

According to the Conservative Party of British Columbia, the winner of the leadership race will be announced on May 30th at the leadership convention. 

Findlay visited Fort St. John on April 4th, where she discussed law and order, healthcare, education and affordability.

On April 7th, Kealy announced his endorsement of Findlay for leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, calling her “the right person for the job.”

Prior to announcing her bid for leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, Findlay served as MP for South Surrey-White Rock for two terms, from October 2019 to April 2025.

She also served as MP for Delta-Richmond East from May 2011 to October 2015.

Findlay has also served on anumber of committees, including as Vice-Chair on the National Defence committee from December 2021 to October 2022.
