The meeting was intended to be just for residents, to explore possible options of how he can try and help advocate for them.

According to the Ministry of Transportation and Transit, the landslide has shifted more than 400 metres of material, and the Old Fort Road leading to the nearby subdivision has been shifted over 100 metres down slope.

An evacuation order issued on April 20th and an evacuation alert issued on April 23rd remain in effect as of May 1st.
