Siphon Creek Road closed due to culvert failure 

Peace River, B.C. — Siphon Creek Road is currently closed to traffic in Cecil Lake. 

According to a Facebook post on April 22nd from Dawson Road Maintenance, Siphon Creek Road is currently closed due to a culvert failure between Shoaf and Doig Road. 

Crews are currently working on assessment and repair plans to resolve the issue, the post wrote. 

Rose Prairie Road to Milligan and Doig Road is available as an alternative route. 

In another post, Dawson Road Maintenance stated a partial road washout was also present in the area.

There is no word on when the road will reopen.
