FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — It appears ownership of a local craft brewery has switched hands.

Located in Fort St. John, Beard’s Brewing Company began in 2017. It was co-founded by Stephen Beard and his wife, Amy.

In March, it was announced by the Beards it was time to find “the next right owners” on a Facebook post.

Now it appears they have been found, as an announcement about the brewery was posted on the brewery’s Facebook page.

“As some already know, we are selling Beard’s Brewing and stepping back,” reads the beginning of the post on April 12th. “We built Beard’s with the help of so many people, and it has meant so much to our family.”

“The support from this community has been nothing short of amazing. You showed up for us in ways we will never forget. We are excited for the new owners and can’t wait to see what they do next. We truly wish them the very best as they begin this new chapter.”
