The health authority had previously told Energeticcity.ca, in a written statement, that the Hudson’s Hope Health Centre was experiencing an interruption to its daytime and weekday emergency department services due to staffing shortages.

During normal working hours, the centre is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the weekend and outside of normal working hours, residents in need of emergency care are urged by Northern Health to call 911 to connect to BC Emergency Health Services for transport to the nearest available hospital.
