HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The Hudson’s Hope Health Centre has been announced as ‘temporarily closed’.
According to Northern Health’s Emergency department status website, it is the only health care centre listed as closed, with a statement from the authority stating centres are “not open 24/7.”
“Sometimes a nurse or doctor may be available after hours, but not always….’temporarily closed’ means the facility is on service interruption during its normal open hours.” reads the statement on the emergency department status website.
According to Northern Health, the centre is scheduled to re-open on Monday, March 2nd.
Northern Health communications advisor Arthur Williams told Energeticcity.ca the authority will issue further comments regarding the closure.
