TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. — The small, tight-knit community of Tumbler Ridge is reeling today after a school shooter killed eight people, including children as young as 12.

On February 10th, emergency responders rushed to Tumbler Ridge Secondary School to find seven dead – including shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar. Two more people, later confirmed as Rootselaar’s family, were found dead at another location.
